Todd Kelly
Todd is 37, married to Monican and has two daughters: Sarah (age 13) and Jenna (age 7). Todd lives in Clinton, Utah and is a Patrol Sgt for the Police Department.

Years running: 5 years
Weekly mileage: Anywhere from 50 to 85
Favorite race distance or race: 26.2 would be my favorite
PR's " (5K, 10K, ½, mara, Ultra) or proudest running accomplishment: I would say running 16 marathons is an accomplishment for me. PR Marathon time is 3:23:05 (2009 Ogden). Finished the 2008 Antelope Island Ultra 50 miler. Half Marathon PR is 1:33:07. 2009 Buffalo 25 K 14th overall. Ultra Team finish on the Wasatch Back relay in 2005. Completing the 2009 Bair Gutsman was a great accomplishment this year.
Favorite training run: I enjoy those cold Saturday mornings on Antelope Island with snow on the ground and running the trails near Elephant Head and Lonetree.
Why run?" (motivation, inspiration): I guess I am addicted to running. I enjoy meeting new people at races and learning from others.
Goals: My goal is to Boston qualify this week with a new PR in St George.
Favorite music to run to: Anything really
Favorite running gear ?" (shoes, apparel, etc.): Anything with Striders on it. Favorite shoes are Mizuno Wave Rider.
Best advice you've been given as a runner: Start slower and you will make it up at the end.
Best motivational quote: There is a moment in every race, a moment where you can either quit, fold, or say to yourself, I can do this.
Your role model: I have several role models the first would be my wife for putting up with my crazy schedule at times. All my friends at Striders and Friends on Fast Running Blog for helping me when I needed it. And Adam Fiske for being a great friend and running partner.
Favorite food: Oh I love Sushi, Pasta and Salad
Hobbies or interests other than running: I enjoy anything outdoors and love to spend time camping with family and friends.
Anything else the world might want to know about you: let's see I have taken off 1 hour 4 minutes off of my very first marathon time.
