Next weekend, June 19^th & 20^th is the Utah Ragnar Relay.  Good luck if you're running and be safe.  We have "butt lights" in stock if you need one before the race. 

Well, summer is upon us despite all the wind and rain.  Saturday's have been nice, so hopefully you've been able to get some miles in.  With the start of summer comes our favorite race on the planet; the Gerald Anderson Memorial 5K.  Every year we have runners ask us who Gerald was; so we thought it would be cool to Spotlight Gerald as our June runner.  We never knew Gerald; but his legacy certainly lives on with 10 successful children who I'm sure think of him everyday.  Gerald was one of the founding fathers of Weber County running; his reputation stretched from Morgan to Ogden and beyond.  It's been really cool to watch the GLA Memorial 5K grows every year; it's the premiere 5K in the state.  There's not another 5K around where you'll have Olympians, collegiate all-Americans, high school champions and local studs all competing in the same race with the fun-runners.  I'm sure Gerald would be proud with what the running community has done to Brad & Amber's little race.  The Anderson family is thankful, what a great way to honor their patriarch.  To read Gerald Anderson's Runner Spotlight; please visit www.stridersrunning.com 

If you haven't registered for the Gerald Anderson Memorial 5K yet, now is the time to do it.  You can register at Striders (only $15) through Friday, June 12^th.  The race is this Saturday, June 13^th at 8:00am at the Wilkinson Complex across from Morgan Elementary in Morgan -- 344 E Young Street.  Same day registration will also be available for $20.  All proceeds benefit the Morgan Historical Society.  For more information you can call or e-mail Striders. 

June 27^th :
