Most of us are in the construction industry. Project Managers, Project Assistants, Controller, Steel Manager ECT. Our ages range 9-58. Most of us grew up in O-Town or Weber County.

Favorite race distance or race: Half Marathon, Winter Series, Spartan, Dirty Dash, R-Scape, RAGNAR
PR's - (5K, 10K, ½, mara, Ultra) or proudest running accomplishment: Our best accomplishment is bringing a group of people together that have never ran anything substantial and motivating them to run/exercise
Favorite training run: Ogden Parkway & Bonneville Shoreline
Why run - (motivation, inspiration): Most of us agree, it's a great time to think and reduce stress & a great way to stay in good shape.
Goals: To motivate people to have a more active lifestyle and to bring the CK-FIT team closer together.
Favorite music to run to: Anything upbeat. Michael Jackson, Metallica, Eminem, ACDC
Favorite running gear - (shoes, apparel, etc.): Spandex & short shorts..
Best advice you've been given as a runner: Stretch before & after you run. Use deodorant to prevent chafing. Eat something small before you run, such as a piece of toast with peanut butter.
Best motivational quote: I won't dream it.I will be it, No matter how slow you go you're lapping everyone on the couch.
Your role model: Our Mommy's & Daddy's

Hobbies or interests other than running: We all love the outdoors & spending time with family & friends.
Anything else the world might want to know about you: CK-FIT was started last year (2011) by Rob Checketts & Ryan Shurtleff. We wanted to motivate people to stay active and bring our team closer together. So far it has been very successful, we have had one employee quite smoking, half of our company is participating in a biggest loser competition and we have taught some nutrition classes to help along the way. Also, a large group of us have been gathering on the weekends to participate in runs such as the Winter Series, RAGNAR & others.
