CINDY WOODWARD
Cindy Woodward is 50 years old and married to the greatest guy ever, they just celebrated their 31st anniversary!!! Cindy is the mother of two beautiful daughters, one rockin' son, and an amazing son in law. She is also Grammy to the most precious granddaughter in the world! Cindy's hometown is West Weber, UT and she is an Interior Designer.

Weekly Mileage: 15-30
Favorite race distance or race: I love the marathon, Oh the calories a girl can burn. But who doesn't love a quick 5k?
PR's - (5k, 10k, 1/2, mara, Ultra) or proudest running accomplishment: This year as I turned 50 I entered the rock n roll series. My goal was to earn the rock star medal. In order for that to happen I had to run 4 fulls and 4 halves back to back. In January I got the Rock Star medal. Way cool!
Favorite training run: Top of 193 back to my home in West Point. 10.5 miles. Best part of the run is it is mostly downhill- I also get to spend quality running time with two of my BFF's Brooke & Kim!
Why run - (motivation, inspiration): I run to stay in shape. I am getting older now so a girl's got to do what a girl's got to do!
Goals: Striders Winter Circuit, Ogden 1/2, San Diego Full, lots of 5k's and the Las Vegas full. Mostly just keep running!
Favorite music to run to: Country and old Rock n' Roll
Favorite Running gear - (shoes, apparel, etc.): My new Asics gels - Kristin hooked me up! They are so cozy I could sleep in them!
Best advice you've been given as a runner: Just keep running. Even when it gets hard. If it were comfortable everyone would be doing it!
Best motivational quote: What would you attempt to do if you knew you could not fail?
Your role model: My son Mason, My daughters Whitley and Tasha. Amazing!
Favorite food: Cookies, Brownies, Cake, and Pasta - in that order!
Hobbies or interests other than running: Baking, cooking, shopping, decorating, traveling, and spending time with my family.
Anything else the world might want to know about you: Can't live without Diet Coke-okay really I could but who wants to?
