Favorite training run: Upper Green Pond Tail
Why run - (motivation, inspiration): I run to feel better about myself, to hang out with John Wojciechowski and Mike Harney, to be around people that I like, to stay in shape for my job, and to someday show Ben the back of my running shirt.
Goals: To try and be a better man each day and also qualify for Boston.
Favorite music to run to: Anything a little harder, Jane's Addiction, 311, Metallica, Incubus, and also Bob Marley
Favorite running gear - (shoes, apparel, etc.):Brooks Axiom and anything with Striders Logo on it.
Best advice you've been given as a runner: Don't shave your legs the day of a race, its bad luck. (try it, its true)
Best motivational quote: Winners don't cut corners.
Your role model: My wife Tammy, Mike Harney's 3:08 marathon, and Gordon B. Hinckley.
Favorite food: Chips Ahoy chocolate chip cookies with milk
Hobbies or interests other than running: Family, fishing, and cycling.
Anything else the world might want to know about you: I have had enough kidney stones to share with my friends, if you want to borrow one let me know. The great philosopher, Rex Kwando once said, "Who wants a roundhouse to the head while I am wearing these bad boys?" I feel like that when I have my running shoes on.
