April - Spotlight Runner - Brad Wojciechowski |
![spacer (1K)]() |
For the month of April we're very excited to introduce as our Runner Spotlight the 3rd of 4 Wojciechowski brothers -- Brad Steven Wojciechowski. Brad was vital to us in getting Striders open 6 years ago; he painted, laid carpet, hung slatwall, moved furniture, put racks and displays together, and worked the cash register in the early days. Without his help and support there would be no Striders. Brad has always been a great athlete; he was a standout performer in football and soccer in high school and played soccer at Weber State University. In 2002 with baby brother Mike, they were starters on Weber State's NIRSA National Soccer Championship team. Brad is also the reigning champion in the Wojciechowski Thanksgiving Day 50 yard dash, but only because I slipped and it was raining.
Brad has run many 5K and 10K's and a few half-marathon's, but on May 16th he's taking on his first Ogden Marathon. It's going to be fun to watch him run. Brad has a beautiful little girl and he got very lucky with his bride, Michelle. To read up on Brad please visit www.stridersrunning.com |
