Striders is independently owned and operated by John and Kristin Wojciechowski and their two children. The Wojciechowski's opened Striders in 2004 due to their love of running and the need for quality running gear in Northern Utah.

July 31st - Anything For a Friend is a fundraiser 5K for the Child family. Courtney Child is battling ovarian cancer. Oak Forest Park in Layton (2275 E 2400 N). The 5K races starts at 7:30am. Registration forms are available at Striders. More information at http://www.anythingforafriend.com/

UtahRunning.com officially launched on January 15th 2010 and aims to become the premiere destination for Utah runners, coaches, and race coordinators. UtahRunning.com is dedicated to helping people in Utah live a healthier lifestyle by providing useful tools and information for all things related to running. Resources include a list of upcoming races in Utah, and an expert panel of doctors, nutritionists, athletes, and coaches who answer questions about running.
