TSSL PRESS RELEASE

Toronto Services Soccer League ‘TSSL’ announces the formation of an ‘Independent Game Officials’ association ‘IGO’.
Soccer league continues to evolve as an independent association by announcing the expansion of their infrastructure through the incorporation of their own game officials.
November 24, 2011, The TSSL, the oldest and largest organized recreational soccer league in North America, will now employ their own game officials to assist with being a self-sufficient league.

Headquartered in North York, Ontario, Canada, the TSSL established in 1958 has a long history that has deep roots within the city of Toronto.  ‘Due to developments from early 2011 which led to our league becoming independent, we needed to address the issue of not having access to game officials’ noted Sean Lee Heung President of the TSSL.  ‘We had several groups approach us in this regard and our Board made a decision and outlined a plan to move ahead with this important initiative’ Mr. Lee Heung continues.
The TSSL plans to foster the growth of its game officials through training, development and monitoring of Referees and Referee Assistants throughout the season.  The end goal is to ensure our continued success and growth as a league and to build soccer in Ontario.

For more information contact Sean Lee Heung of

Arsene Wenger has reaffirmed his
commitment to Arsenal by pledging not to leave the
Gunners while he is still under contract at the club.
“I have three years to go with Arsenal and I always
respect my contract. It looks like PSG are coming in
at a time when Marseille are a little less strong,” he
told reporters.
Wenger has three years left on his current deal and
has said in the past that a role with Paris
Saint-Germain could tempt him to one day leave
the Emirates. But with talk surrounding the club about
players not signing extensions to their contracts, the
Frenchman has dismissed the suggestion that he
could leave the Gunners and move back to his
homeland..

VAUGHAN, ON, April 20, 2011The Ontario Soccer
Association announced
today that Guy Bradbury is no longer an
employee of the Association.
Mr. Bradbury joined The Ontario
Soccer Association as C.E.O. in 2004 and oversaw the
organization’s operations during a period of continued growth
in participation and interest in the game of soccer in Ontario
and Canada.
“On behalf of the Staff and Volunteers of the
Ontario Soccer Association, I want to extend our thanks for the
dedication and commitment that Guy has given to our Association
for the past 7 years,” said Ron Smale, OSA President.

“I want to ensure everyone that our programs and services will

Sweeping Reform For The CSA
While this may be a progressive move, what does that
say about the confidence in the abilities of Provincial
Presidents. These are the folks who will be responsible
for delivering the services to its membership. Statements
such as "We can fill the board with people who can open
doors and have connections.", why would we not be
doing this very same thing at the Provincial level.

Ok here are the rules for Registration
and when you are insured with OSA

Section 6.0        Registration
Policy 2.0        Player Registration

2.6 A player's "Player Assignment To Team"
designation by its Club on an outdoor team is
terminated on December 31 or when the Club
de-registers the player, whichever occurs first.
However for insurance purposes, the player's
"outdoor" registration with the O.S.A. is effective
until May 31 of the following year.

So a team may train all winter in a facility and ask
for a certificate of insurance if necessary.

however, should a team wish to play in an
indoor league, tournament or against another club
in an exhibition game, the team would need to be
registered for the indoor season.

Ok here are the rules for Mini and
11 v 11 youth soccer as it stands now.

U10 and younger teams must play mini
soccer. U11 and U12 teams have the option
of playing mini soccer or 11v11. In the future
when LTPD is implemented in Ontario, U11
teams will only be permitted to play mini
soccer (starting 2012) and U12 teams will
only be permitted to play mini soccer
(starting 2013). So, by 2013, 11v11 will only
be permitted for U13 and older teams. The
same rule will be applied in every jurisdiction
in Canada.

Soccer league is baffled by the sudden
and questionable conduct displayed by the OSA.

Two days ago, the Ontario Soccer Association
(OSA) formally instructed all OSA sanctioned
referees that they were no longer permitted
to officiate Toronto Services Soccer League
(TSSL) games. The TSSL was indirectly notified
by many of these referees and not by the
Toronto Soccer Association (TSA) or

Mango Money Center is a bank for people who hate banks. At Mango, you won't find stacks of deposit slips, tellers behind bulletproof glass, or loan officers in suits trying to talk you into refinancing. Instead, money "coaches" in bright orange T-shirts welcome you into the open, spare store and direct you to one of the self-service kiosks. Mango was developed as a simple way for the 60 million Americans who don't have bank accounts to interact with the banking system in an easy and friendly system; an attractive alternative to the check cashing or payday loan stores that the "unbanked" traditionally have to use. But, with its paperless system and emphasis on mobile and online banking, Mango might be the future for those who already have bank accounts as well, but are sick of banking as usual.
