Some of the more recent cars to come out of the Fester Race Cars workshop.
Gleadow & Galloway NFAA Altered Bob Gleadow & Darren Galloway's new blown methanol NFAA altered, driven by Bob's son, Adam. Originally an I.C.E Automotive chassis. The chassis had various fabrication work including the tinwork, body mounting and fettling. Some neat tricks incorporated to keep the lines of the car clean and nostalgiac. Testing commenced at the tail end of 2009. Powered by a 517ci Rodeck, topped with a 14/71 and backed with a 3 speed B&J transmission.
Go Hard Or Go Home - Altered The altered of the Price family came in for various updates and fabrication works, including:
- New rollcage
- New front suspension triangulations
Since that work, a brand new replacement chassis is being fabricated at Fester Race Cars. More photos to follow.

Destiny's Angel - Wild Bunch Altered The car was brought in for some fabrication work, primarily a new cage.
1400hp Chevy Pickup The truck came into Fester Race Cars earlier in 2009 for a 4 link rear conversion and new rollcage. This monster of a truck is powered by a blown Big Block Chevy, making around 1400hp.
Jon Best Bassline - Top Fuel Slingshot
Complete scratch built car. Big block Chevy on 95% Nitromethane. Full bodywork with swept up chute surround in aluminium.

Andrew Gibb Stripteaser - Jag Minivan
Stripteaser was re-found by Andrew Gibb at the end of 2007. I built a new chassis in moly for it, and lengthened the wheelbase by 5", the rules ask for 90". We used as many of the original chassis brackets as possible, even the chassis colour is correct.

Matt Wright Who Dares Wins - NFAA Fuel Altered
This car is driven by Matt, but I do all the fabrication on it. Had to change the shoulder hoop and chassis to get him in. Should run 6.20's. Once again, a budget car, but aesthetically interesting. Runs on 90% Nitromethane.

This chassis was built by Paul Stubbings. Nothing wrong with it but I moved the engine back and changed the rollcage for a softer 60's look. Full bodywork and fuel tank in ali. Engine is from the Rat Trap Fuel Altered, running on 90% Nitromethane. Will be out in 2008.
Matt Wright All or Nothing - Chevy C10 Pickup
What a monster, built this with Johnny Hall. Brutal, aggressive looking thing. Ran 8.7 in Hockenheim with Matt lifting too early before the end by some 200ft!
John Gale Dodge Dart
New clip front. New front suspension. Cosmetic bulkhead work.
Frank Bennett Relentless - NFAA Alky altered

Alec Coe Shy Talker II - Blown alky slingshot
Built this car with Johnny Hall. Quite a pretty car, ran on methanol. Small block Chevy & powerglide. 7.50 second chassis tag. Update!! 20th Sep 2009 - Both Alec & Tom Coe have now run into the 7's for the first time with the car. Alec with a 7.81, and later the same day, Tom with a 7.6. Well done to the team, from Fester Race Cars.

Johnny Hall B&J Racecars - Top Fuel Slingshot
Helped Johnny Hall, updated this car with kidney cars, better rollcage, tin work, converted it to run on nitro, and used it as the shop car for B&J Race Cars (Billy & Johnny). The car was so underfinanced that we used to ask to turn up without entering, free entry etc. It also had different heads one side to the other. 350ci Small Block Chevy, Mike's monster glide transmission.
It sort of worked, and ran one 6 second run - 6.92/182.99 at Shakespeare County Raceway, a 1000ft pass, losing the blower belt. I remember one pass at Santa Pod at the Flame & Thunder when I forgot to put timing back into it after the warmup. It ran 7.5 with only 10o in the mag.
